Microsoft Patches Windows and Office

Today Microsoft will release eight patches that affect Windows Xp, Windows Vista and Windows 7. In addition, there are patches for the Microsoft Office Suite that affect all versions going back to Office 2002 for both the Mac and the PC. All of the patches fix security holes that would allow a hacker to take control of your computer. Complete details of the fixes can be found on Microsoft's website.

If you haven't turned on Windows Automatic Updates, now is a good time to do so.
